On Tuesday 17th December ten performers/performing groups overcame their nerves and gave it their all to compete in CSIS's bi-annual Talent Quest. Students and staff of CSIS were treated to performances by solo singers, rock bands, a circus-style unicycle act, comedic improvisers, hip-hop dancers, jazz dancers and Irish dancers.

Huge thanks must go to the Performing Arts Leadership Team who collaborated well to put together a really slick, professional show.

Special congratulations must go to the acts which gained top placings, as chosen by our guest judges: Rachael Palmer and Stacey from Rachael Palmer Dance School (thanks so much for giving your time and expertise, guys!). In third place was Tommaso, Oliver and Josh with their humorous unicycle act. Second place went to Tyla Hira with his mesmerising solo performance of 'Riptide' (see photo). No-one was surprised when first place went to the crowd favourite, Boys' Hip Hop Crew, who had been working together this term to create an original choreography to their own, unique mash-up. The boys had cleverly put together entertaining choreo with some of today's most popular tik tok dances.

Well done to everyone who took part or contributed in some way - the event was thoroughly enjoyable and showcased the incredible talent (and bravery) we have at South.
